Joe Greene

In addition to his role as the CEO and Owner of OrthoVise, Joe enjoys working as the Program Manager for Outreach and Development within the University of Wisconsin Hospital Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation.

He has worked for the University of Wisconsin Hospital Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation since 1991, when he initiated his career there as an athletic trainer and clinician. He has worked in management and administration across the Department since 1997. Joe currently coordinates business and philanthropic development activities for the UW Hospital Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation and University of Wisconsin Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation. In his role, he represents the needs of all orthopedic subspecialties including Hand and Upper Extremity, Joint Replacement, Orthopedic Oncology, Sports Medicine, Spine Medicine, Pediatric Orthopedics, Foot and Ankle, and Orthopedic Trauma.

Joe’s has been fortunate over the course of his career to have had experiences which have allowed him the opportunity to consult formally with orthopedic and sports medicine practices of all sizes since 2010. He particularly enjoys helping implement new and innovative healthcare service delivery opportunities. He has a particular interest in Healthcare Information Technology and helping evolve its meaning to orthopedics.

Lincoln Likness

Lincoln Likness, D.O. is Sports and Spine Medicine specialist with board certifications in family medicine, sports medicine, and brain injury medicine. He is Chief of Staff at Hudson Hospital and Clinics in Hudson, WI where he practices with Hudson Physicians, a private group of primary care and specialty providers. He is an experienced team physician for many teams from the professional, collegiate, and high school levels. In addition, he specializes in Interventional Spine Procedures and Musculoskeletal Ultrasound.

He has special interest and expertise in practice management strategies and optimization. He is an advocate of involving Athletic Trainers in outpatient medicine. He optimizes his clinic’s performance and care delivery by employing Athletic Trainer Physician Extenders.

Dr. Likness will serve as the physician leader for our State Business Development efforts.

Kyle Scharer

Along with his work as a consultant for OrthoVise LLC, Kyle currently serves as the Operations Supervisor for the Orthopedic Service Line at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. In this role, Kyle is responsible for direct oversight of the CHW licensed athletic trainers and orthopedic technicians while also providing administrative support to all clinical operations across the service line. Prior to accepting his current role, Kyle spent 3 years as a physician extender within CHW’s pediatric and adolescent sports medicine and concussion programs. His additional athletic training experience includes 2 years as an assistant athletic trainer with the football program at East Carolina University, and 2 years as a graduate assistant athletic trainer with the University of Georgia’s softball program. As an undergraduate student, Kyle completed an internship with the Toledo Mud Hens Baseball Organization, the AAA affiliate of the Detroit Tigers.

Kyle obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training & Clinical Management from Bowling Green State University and his Master’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Georgia. Additionally, Kyle completed the Athletic Training Residency Program at the UW Health Sports Medicine (Madison, WI) in 2011. Kyle currently serves as a member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association Physician Extender Workgroup, which operates under the Committee on Practice Advancement. He has also assisted with the planning of the Physician Extender Workshop at the NATA’s Annual Meeting (2013 – present), and additionally has presented regularly on his personal experiences to athletic training residents from around the country.

Kyle will serve as the Operational lead for our State Business Development Efforts

Ryan Wilkinson

Ryan currently serves as Clinical Assistant Professor and Director of Clinical Education with the Athletic Training Program at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Ryan earned his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Concordia University, his Master of Science in Athletic Training from Indiana University, and his Doctor of Education from Nova Southeastern University. Prior to starting at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2010, Ryan served as Coordinator of Clinical Education and Associate Athletic Trainer at Concordia University for eight years.

Ryan has served the athletic training profession in a number of state, district, and national roles including President of the Wisconsin Athletic Trainers’ Association and Wisconsin State Representative to the Great Lakes Athletic Trainers’ Association Executive Board. He currently serves as Chair of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association State Association Advisory Committee.

Ryan will serve as the Education Coordinator for our State Business Development efforts.
